Our open day is the perfect opportunity to come and meet our current volunteers and scout leaders, learn about the role of a camp warden, and explore the beautiful landscape of Thorrington Scout Camp. You'll have the chance to see firsthand the impact that scouting has on the lives of young people and how you can be a part of this incredible organisation.
Whether you're an experienced camper or just looking for a new adventure, volunteering as a camp warden at Thorrington is a fantastic way to give back to your community while having fun and making new friends. You'll work alongside other volunteers to provide a safe, positive, and rewarding camping experience for young people.
So why not come along to our open day on June 24th and see what it's all about? We'd love to meet you and show you around the camp. The open day will start at 10am and run until 8pm with a campfire in the evening should you wish to join in, and all are welcome to attend. We'll have refreshments and snacks available, as well as activities and demonstrations throughout the day.
